Common questions
Things people ask before they hire us.
It depends on size, pitch, material, and what we find under the existing shingles. We give written estimates after we walk the roof, free of charge — usually within 48 hours of the appointment.
Most single-family homes are a one- to three-day job, weather depending. We tarp anything left open and we don't leave a half-finished roof exposed overnight if there's any chance of weather.
Yes — fully licensed and insured in the State of Michigan, with workers' compensation on every crew member. We're happy to send proof before any work begins.
Often. We'll document the damage with photos, walk the adjuster through the roof, and write the estimate to match the scope your insurance will cover. We've done it many times.
Manufacturer warranty on the materials (typically 30–50 years on architectural shingle, longer on metal) and a workmanship warranty from us. We put it in writing with the contract.
Yes. Gutters, soffit, fascia, and full siding work runs through the Lemieur Construction side of the business — same crew, same standards.
